from 1733 reviewsI was near the warehouse in Tullamarine, so I called in and bought mt 10th pair of Elten's.
I love them. Wore my first pair on a bushwalk the day they came. Never any hotspots, rubbing, or break in time. I’d say they go a couple years, depending how hard you are on them. Light as sneakers. Not for hot or overly wet work. I would love if the goretex Sander also had the Boa closure instead of laces. I would buy another pair. Great boots and great customer service.
Very comfortable on my feet, specially when I’m moving around at work on night shift, definitely recommend to others.
At first I wasn't sure if they would be comfortable as they are much firmer than my previous work boots but after a week of use I don't seem to have aching feet at the end of the day like I've had with previous others. Went with the suggestion of going one size smaller but ended up needing the next size up. 42 seemed like a perfect fit but toes felt like they touched when walking. 43 felt big but they are fitting well. It was hard to gauge the height of the boot, they are around an inch taller than the Blundstones and Olivers - 200mm high, would be good if the website or spec sheet had some dimensional measurements. I'm impressed how the design makes it basically impossible to drag the heel and wear it out.
The Elten Fraser Pro Fire Protective Safety Boot is the Best made Boot I have owned .They are tough and durable as well as comfortable but I would have liked for them to have been made in a 4E for them to have been a more perfect fit but that would be my only minor complaint.
The Boa Lacing System has continued to prove to be a Winner being much Faster,Stronger and Easier to Keep Clean than ordinary Laces.
The Soul of the Boot has a good Tread
and seems like it will be very Tough and well wearing.
The whole Boot overal is the most well made I have experienced. I fully recommend Elten an StitchKraft
Thankyou.
I'm a Leading Hand looking after on average around 300 refrigerated containers with a intermodal. Probably walk around 18 miles a day ( up down stairs, ladders ). In over 1/4 century in this job these boots are the best my ol feet have ever worn. Comfortable, warm, waterproof 😌 Certainly a blessing for myself. Personally great boots for someone always on their ol feet 👍🏻
3rd pair of work boots I've purchased from Stitchkraft. There the best. Thank you.
I'm a commercial Roof plumber; construction industry
First ordered a Sander Boa but the size is wrong and didn't like the cushion (not enough for me) because I'm suffering from sciatica. Returned it last Thursday ( May 1). Requested a replacement of another model which was the Miles Boa, and just delivered today. Put it on straight away and oh guys the cushioning and it's a perfect fit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Elten boots.
As a long term wearer of the Elten boot range, I opted to do a remeasure of my feet for this purchase and went down a size for a snug fit. I have found personally this was a good move so far (and have combined with the SensiCare high arch supports for my feet), where previously over time the ankle support on the slightly larger size allowed too much roll within the boot as the leather relaxed. The comfort of the boot keeps me coming back, including most importantly to me, the give through the mid sole. Unfortunately my work (as a concrete repair and flooring contractor) trashes the boots quite quickly with usually the toe guard wearing through in the first instance as a lot of time is spent on the hands and knees. The body holds up well, the soles usually get gummed up with epoxy and other products again making them unsafe relative to my work - this would happen with any boot I wear. There is no wear in required for these boots and the comfort level, light weight, and build quality will impress you if you haven't tried them before. I haven't found anything that matches them in the marketplace so far. The price point might make you hesitate but I would say give some love to your feet, you only have one set!
Perfect boots for working in the civil electrical industry as we’re constantly having to deal with different terrains and weather conditions these boots allow me to get inside pits with water in without having to go change to gum boots 🙌🏾🙌🏾and I can walk through mud and water up to 200mm
Leather perfect stitching perfect sole the best turning knob exceptionally creative happy comfortable working boot
I have to say that I’m extremely pleased with my new boots. Out of the box and straight to working 12 hour shifts in 40C in the harsh conditions of the WA Pilbara and my feet are loving it. The boots are a perfect fit and comfort plus. I watch my other colleagues struggling with there new work boots, with blisters, ache and pains, limping and changing back to there old boots. You shouldn't have to break in new boots. Do yourself a favour and give Stitchkraft a go.♥️♥️♥️ picture is of the boots after only 4 days, its tough country!
I really like these boots. I have been on a long search for work boots that tick the following boxes: a good fit; easy to take off; durable. These definitely tick the first two boxes and I'll have to wait to see about the third. They are light and comfortable and the Boa system works very well.
Quality, good looking boots. Nice and light. Impressed with the BOA lace system. Happy with my purchase.
After seeing mine. A work mate is about to get some.
These shoes are like a skate board shoe, however the internal construction gives a lot more arch support. They are pretty generous in the width in standard sizing. The mid sole is pretty rigid. The sole tread pattern and hardness won't suit every surface for grip, however mine aren't worn in much at this stage. The BOA lace system makes putting on and taking off a breeze. For me personally these are a backup and yard shoe and not a daily wear, preferring full ankle boots for site work. If you're used to sneaker style safety shoes you will like these for comfort, feel, and weight. If your a rigger or a roofer may not be the best choice for grip due to the hard tread.
